I first started volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in high school. I enjoyed it so much I joined the club while at ASU and then organized events as the volunteer chair for Delta Sigma Delta at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. At habitat for humanity I am able to combine my handyman skills and desire to help in a way that I truly enjoy, while also helpeing to improve my teamwork and creative problem-solving skills.

The pain behind the badge is a seminar that trains military, police, and fire personnel on stress management and suicide prevention. Clarke Paris, a retired police sergeant, created the seminar after dealing with PTSD and realizing the stress it caused to both him and his family. Clarke wrote a book and developed great content to present at his seminar, but came to me in need of help packaging it into an interactive and informative presentation. I was able to redesign his PowerPoint presentation into an interactive Prezi experience that reflected Clarke’s passion for the subject. Learn more…
